Ukraine and Poland agreed to create 4 new crossing points, including one in Transcarpathia

Ukraine and Poland have agreed to increase the number of crossing points on the common border – the countries will build another 4, the Hromadske reports citing the Interfax-Ukraine.

"Today, we have agreed that our next step will be opening og four more border crossing points – in Transcarpathia, two in Lviv region and one in Volyn," – Andriy Parubiy, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said.

The Polish government has allocated 100 million zlotys in the budget for the next year for the construction of the checkpoint Malkhovice-Nizhankovichi.

According to Parubiy, the Ukrainian party should build a road to the checkpoint in its territory.

In Transcarpathia, the checkpoint will be set up in the village of Lubnia in Velyky Berezny district.
