Long-term construction on Shvabska is easily among the most infamous ones. What people are most worried about is not even the duration of the construction or uncertainty about its future purpose, but the way the owner chose to solve the issue of the comfort of passers-by, who for years have been forced to get around this long-term construction.
In the group Uzhgorod, users regularly post photos of the "ugly building", as it is called, or rather the danger it poses for pedestrians. However, the spokesman of the mayor assures: employees of the municipal street maintenance inspection gave an order to the owner, and he fixed the passage.
Unfortunately, in the strange structure provided by the owner, not only the "floor" is sinking, but also the "roof" is falling on passersby’s heads: "Today, a decayed wooden support holding the transverse boards fell right in front of us. We had to get around this rotten "beauty" of Uzhgorod through the roadway… And young mothers with prams have to walk on this road too… Fortunately, there were no accidents, but it could have been much worse. Maybe, officers of the municipal inspection should come to Shvabska again to give the owner the order to fix the roof of the "temporary" crumbling corridor…
