During the past week, the Transcarpathian patrol policemen have been taking a series of measures under the name "Carrier", the press service of the Patrol Police of Transcarpathia informs.
During the joint raids with the State Transport Safety Service, 487 vehicles designed for the carriage of passengers have been checked. Of those, 76 drivers violated the current legislation – 17 were driving without relevant documents, 17 have not passed the mandatory technical control, 8 were transporting passengers in excess of the allowed number, and so on.
In addition, drivers, who are engaged in passenger transportation, "forget" to undergo mandatory medical examination, and some deviate from the set route.
