The final stage of the All-Ukrainian Children’s League 10-13 in 2017 – the so-called "16 strongest" tournament – took place in Kyiv. Two athletes of the Fencing Federation of Transcarpathia won gold and silver medals.
Uzhgorod fencer Oleksandra Lazarenko finished the first having defeated her teammate – Olena Synytsia (coach of both – Anatoliy Herey). Emily Bernigo from Kyiv (coach – Natalia Konrad) took the third place.
In addition, the results of the fencing season of the All-Ukrainian Children’s League 10-13 were determined. In their age group, Oleksandra Lazarenko finished the second, and Olena Synytsia – the third.
