Two Ukrainians and a Jordanian were detained near the border

Two our compatriots were detained at midnight near the checkpoint Uzhgorod during an attempt to illegally cross the state border. The border patrol noticed a man and a woman who were trying to overcome the fence and reported it to the department "Uzhgorod". The offenders were detained just 50 meters to the state border. The fugitives turned out to be residents of the city of Mukachevo, who were trying to illegaly get to Germany in search of a better life.

The detainees were taken to the Border Guard Service department for filtration measures and drafting of relevant procedural documents. After clarification of all the circumstances, they will be brought to administrative liability under Part 2 of Art. 204-1 of the CAO "Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine" and Art. 202 of the CAO "Violation of the border regime, regime at the points of entry through the state border Ukraine or regime rules at checkpoints of entry-exit."

In the morning, the district inspector of the Border Guard Service of the same department, together with an officer of the National Police, in the framework of the special measures "Migrant", detained a citizen of Jordan. The man was in a controlled border area without the relevant documents. The Jordanian will be brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 242 of the CAO "Violation of the border regime, the regime at the points of entry through the state border of Ukraine or the regime rules at checkpoints of entry-exit."
