Two more groups of illegal immigrants were detained

During one day, officers of the Mukachevo border guard detachment detained on the border with Hungary 2 groups of illegal migrants from Afghanistan and, in cooperation with Hungarian colleagues, a group of citizens of Syria.

Thus, on August 31, officers of the Border Guard Service department "Horonhlab" of the Mukachevo border guard detachment arrested four Afghan citizen.

During the detention of the four illegal immigrants, border patrol was forced to use weapons, in partcular make warning shots in the air to stop the offense.

Also on August 31, officers of the Border Guard Service department "Luzhanka" of the Mukachevo border guard detachment together with Hungarian colleagues detained two illegal migrants – citizens of Syria – for for violation of the state border of Ukraine.

Today, officers of the Border Guard Service department "Kosyno" of the Mukachevo border guard detachment detained near the state border seven illegal immigrants without documents (according to them, citizens of Afghanistan, 2 males, 2 females, 3 minor children).

All the detainees were taken to the temporary detention units. The fate of the illegal migrants will be decided by the court.
