Two men were sentenced to three years in prison for smoking marijuana

January 23, 2013, V. Berezny district court together with the Transcarpathian prosecutor to oversee compliance with the laws in the transport sector Volodymyr Melnychyn considered two criminal cases on charges of Uzhgorod residents who illegally manufactured, stored, transported without intent to sell and publicly smoked a drug product (marijuana) at Velyky Berezny train station, 

Therefore, the court sentenced each of the convicts to three and two years imprisonment, but considering sincere repentance and the presence of dependent minor children, the convicts were released from serving their sentences with the establishment of test period of two and one year respectively.
