Two illegal workshops have been closed and millions worth of alcohol has been seized

In January-February 2015, officers of the Main Office of SFS in Transcarpathian region revealed 15 criminal offenses. The offenses were registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, including 7 serious and very serious ones. 7 criminal offenses for tax evasion were detected, including 4 – in a large scale.

2 criminal proceedings with indictments were referred to court.

In addition, with the participation of the SFS employees, 106,000 UAH was mobilized to the budget.

Since the beginning of the year, the SFS officers have stopped 5 cases of illegal production and trafficking of excisable goods totaling 1,570,000 UAH, including 85,000 UAH worth of alcohol and 1,485,000 UAH worth of alcoholic beverages.

Also, employees of the regional fiscal service discontinued the work of 2 illegal workshops for the production of counterfeit alcohol.
