Two illegal migrants, father and son, were detained by Transcarpathian border guards

Two illegal migrants were detained in the evening by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment. Servicemen of the "Solotvyno" department received the information about possible illegal activity at the border from the operational staff of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service.

A response team was immediately sent to the area of the alleged border breach, where they detected and detained two men aged 19 and 43 years old. The detainees had no documents, but they said that they were Armenian citizens. In addition, it turned out that they were relatives – father and son. They also said that they both had been living on the territory of Ukraine for some time, but decided to illegally get to the European Union.

In order to draft reports on administrative violations, the detainees were taken to the department of the border guard service. Measures to establish all the circumstances of the offense are being taken. The foreigners will be judged in court.
