Today, about ten o’clock in the morning on the road of national importance "Kyiv-Chop" in Volovets district the driver of a "Honda Civis" moving towards the city of Uzhgorod, lost control and drove into oncoming traffic where he collided with a car "Volkswagen Tiguran".
The Honda was driven by a citizen of the Russian Federation, who as a result of the accident was taken to hospital with a broken leg. A passenger of the Volkswagen – a female citizen of the United States – also suffered injuries, and after receiving medical aid she was released from the hospital.
The cause of the accident is being established – reported Traffic Police Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region.
