The figures of income received by television companies during the football championship have reached the amounts of Football Euro 2004 and 2008. This was informed on June 22 by the tournament director Martin Kallen, reported Zerkalo Nedeli.
Thus, according to Martin Kallen, the sponsors and the TV staff are satisfied with the cooperation with UEFA.
Preliminary expectations of UEFA for the profit from Euro 2012 are determined by EUR 1.3 billion, slightly more than the income received during the World Cup 2008, which took place in Austria and Switzerland.
We add that for the last twenty years the profitability of Europian Championship has increased more than 30 times.
