Turkish investor wants to build a waste processing plant in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Representatives of the enterprise delegation announced that at a meeting in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. 

The Deputy Head of the RSA Oleksiy Hetmanenko met with representatives of EMC ENERGY, headed by Mutluay Murat. 

Members of the delegation told about the terms of construction:

– waste sorting and recycling is carried out using modern technologies and is completely safe for humans and the environment;

– investor company builds the facility at its own cost;

– the solid waste landfill can be used during operation;

– the local community receives land use rent.

In addition, the company is registered at the place of business, so it will pay taxes and create jobs.

Hetmanenko stressed that Transcarpathia and Uzhgorod, in particular, urgently need the introduction of technologies for waste disposal and recycling, because the current landfills have already exhausted their resources.

According to him, the regional authorities are already considering several proposals from investors. If the representatives of the EMC ENERGY submit their specific proposals on technology and timing, they will be reviewed in the shortest possible time and taken into consideration, the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration added.
