"We trust citizens and business and believe that the majority of them work legally. However, since the beginning of the year, Transcarpathian regional bodies of the Ministry have found 1559 people, who were working without duely registered labor relations. As a result of preventive, supervisory and public awareness activities, the workers were employed with all the social safety net, and the budget received 271,000 UAH of income tax for individuals" – Igor Kril, the head of income and taxes on individuals department of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region said.
The most developed and relevant for Transcarpathia are the retail trade, catering, passenger and cargo transportation services. It is in those sectors that employers use illegal labor the most.
During seven months, the Ministry experts have identified 304 individuals who were working without state registration as entrepreneurs.
Thus, as a result of preventive, supervisory and public awareness activities, the budget received 271,000 UAH of income tax for individuals, the regional office of the Ministry of Income reported.
