The Uzhgorod district police department last night received a report about a conflict between two drivers waiting in line near the checkpoint "Tisa" in the town of Chop, the regional police reported.
Having arrived at the scene, officers of the Uzhgorod district patrol police response team found out that two foreigners, truck drivers, were having a conflict over the place in the general queue. One of them was in a state of intoxication. Drager found 1.44 ppm of alcohol in his blood. In addition, the driver refused to provide a driver’s license. The police drew up reports of administrative offenses against the foreign offender for driving while intoxicated and for driving without a driver’s license.
In general, over the past 24 hours, officers of the Transcarpathian patrol police response teams have documented the facts of drunk driving in Uzhgorod, Svalyava, Velyky Berezny, and Tyachiv districts. Two more drunk drivers were found by officers of the regional patrol police department. Appropriate reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against the offenders.
