On Thursday, April 5, at 5:00 pm, in Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library, there will be a literary and musical event "Ukrainian Flower of America" on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Kvitka Tsisyk.
On April 5, the American singer of Ukrainian origin, Kvitka Tsisyk, whose songs continue to warm the hearts and minds of Ukrainians all over the world, would turn 65. The singer had a rare coloratura soprano. In addition, Kvitka could sing in the so-called "white voice" – a manner of female folk singing that can be heard in Carpathian villages.
On occasion of the singer’s 65th anniversary, the regional library invites to the literary and musical event. The admission is free.
