Despite the positive trends in the labor market of Transcarpathia, the average wages level remains unsatisfactory: today it is a little bit over 2,000 UAH.
Legislators have already taken the first step to ensure its growth by adopting the new law on employment, which came into force in January 2013. Meanwhile, we can be comforted by another indicator: Ukraine declares 8% unemployment rate, while in Europe it is recorded at 12%.
Yevhenia FANTA and Roman VIYHESH, the deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Mykhailo POPOVICH and the head of the department for active support for the unemployed of Uzhgorod City Employment Center Kateryna FIZER explained how officials managed to achieve such results.
