Transcarpathians will join the information campaign to combat human trafficking in Ukraine

The Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration in partnership with the Transcarpathian non-government women’s organization "Vesta" is organizing an information campaign "Together against human trafficking in Ukraine" on the occasion of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
On Friday, July 29, in Uzhgorod, from 10.00 to 12.00, at the railway station and the bus station, there will be a street action for distribution of information materials on safe migration and protection of victims of trafficking.
During the campaign, they will be promoting the national "hot line" for counseling migrants and combating human trafficking – 527. The participants of the campaign will be also providing information on assistance, guaranteed by the legislation of Ukraine for victims of trafficking.
On the same day, July 29, in the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, there will be a press conference on the occasion of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. Representatives of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Transcarpathian public women’s organization "Vesta" and the National Police of Transcarpathia will meet with journalists.
