Transcarpathians can take part in the selection to the national team for the Invictus Games-2018

The collection of applications for participation in the Invictus Games 2018 has started in Ukraine. This year, fifteen members of our team will take part in the international competition in Sydney for the second time, the organizers reported, – the zaholovok.com.ua wrote.

In 2017, the Ukrainian team debuted at the International Invictus Games in Toronto with impressive results – 14 medals (8 golds, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals) in six sports: powerlifting, swimming, track and field athletics, rowing on a simulator, archery and cycling on the highway.

In 2018, Ukraine for the second time will take part in the international competition, which will take place on October 20-27 in Sydney, Australia. 

15 members of our team will be competing with more than 550 participants from 18 countries, including Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Jordan, Iraq, Romania and Poland.

Veterans and active servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as volunteer organizations, who were injured during or as a result of performing official duties in the ATO area or during peacekeeping operations involving Ukraine, may register for open sports testing.

Registration of the application for open sports testing is mandatory for anyone wishing to become a member of the national team in the Invictus Games and is available here: https://invictusgames.in.ua/become-a-sportsman.
The collection of applications for open sports testing will last until February 25, 2018.
