Transcarpathians can ass their identification numbers to the passport

The specialists of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region informs that citizens have the right to add the number of a taxpayer’s registration card (identification number) to their passports.

Any citizen can do it at any time. To do this, one needs to contact the tax office at the place of residence with the appropriate request. The mark is stamped on the seventh, eighth or ninth page of the passport.

According to experts of the Ministry, such legal provision is aimed at improving taxpayer service. It will be useful for example to those who choose to seek the services of banks. If there is a mark in the passport, a bank will be able to identify a person without a document certifying the registration of individuals in the State Register.
