Two Transcarpathians will be competing at the Kickboxing World Championship as members of the national team of Ukraine. Journalist Oleksandra Artyukhina, who closely monitors sports events with the participation of fellow countrymen, wrote about it:
"The rivals are the strongest fighters from around the world, the competition in Italy will be tough! Vadim Babenko and Ivan Zareva, good luck, guys! … We are proud of you and will be rooting for you!"
The WAKO World Kickboxing Championship among young men and juniors will be held in the Italian city of Jesolo on September 15-23, 2018.
