July 3, at the briefing with reporters, the deputy head of the region Anton Hromovy described the activities of the regional administration staff who provide the legal, organizational, logistical, documentary support of the RSA. The staff is financed from the state budget. The staff consists of 12 departments and 2 sectors.
– The new Civil Service Law provides, inter alia, an increase in salaries of civil servants. It is basically a primary condition to attract young professionals to the work in public institutions. We hope that these changes will enter into force starting from 2014 – Anton Hromovy said.
The Chief of Staff also told about citizens’ appeals to the regional administration. Thus, during the first half of 2013, 2,363 appelas have been received. Compared to the same period in 2012, the total number of appeals to the regional state administration increased by 6%.
– In fact, the regional administration receives a lot of input documents. Now we are implementing electronic document management to simplify the procedure. The issue of reducing the amount of requested information from the central government is also relevant – the Chief of Staff said.
As for appeals to the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, their amount has decreased by 23 (260), to the Cabinet – has decreased by 27 (78), to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – has decreased by 8 (11).
Most complaints have come from residents of Tyachiv – 232, Mizhhirya, Rakhiv, Vynogradiv, Khust districts, cities of Uzhgorod and Mukachevo. The least amount of appeals have been received from Volovets and Velyky Berezny districts. Transcarpathians appeal to the authorities to address issues of social protection – their amount is the greatest (1669), utilities – 142, housing – 120, health – 82, agrarian policy and land relations – 66, labour – 63 appeals.
