Transcarpathians are offered conifers in pots

On New Year’s holidays, residents of Transcarpathia will be able to decorate their house with a small conifer in a pot. After all the celebrations, in the spring, you can plant it in your yard or return to the forestry. Small green beauties are sold by Perechyn, Velyky Bychkiv and Velyky Berezny foresters. You can also buy them at the Mukachevo Forestry Enterprise, at the "Berezinka" arboretum. 

The foresters offer two kinds of trees – fir and spruce – that differ in color, shape, fluffiness.   The price of a tree is 100 hryvnias or more, after the holidays, you can return the tree to the forestry, or plant it in the woods or in your yard. In order to buy a tree, you must contact the state forestry enterprise. The foresters have prepared more than 100 Christmas trees.

"We have grown different trees in the nursery. We do this so that people do not cut the trees. A decorated tree in a pot can be put up for holidays, then planted in the spring," – the director of the Velyky Bychkiv forestry enterprise Yuriy Soyma says.

The fir tree needs care, the soil must not be dry. Otherwise, it is a fuss-free plant. Even a small tree will fill an apartment with a New Year’s fragrance, which many Transcarpathians look for when buying a live Christmas tree.
