On March 23, the International training seminar will be broadcast online from 10:00 at the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
March 23, in Ivano-Frankivsk, there will be the International training seminar for Ukrainian organizations of the Western region working in the field of culture and creative industries. The purpose is to provide information on opportunities and conditions for participation of Ukrainian organizations in the EU program "Creative Europe".
National bureau heads of the program "Creative Europe" in Lithuania Egle Deltuvayte and in UK Christoph Jankowski, representative of the British Council in Ukraine Pablo Rossello and the expert of the EU – Eastern Partnership program "Culture and Creativity" Anastasia Nurzhynska will speak before the Ukrainian audience.
The seminar is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine jointly with Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, the Ukrainian Center for Cultural Studies with the participation of the EU – Eastern Partnership program "Culture and Creativity". This is the first training seminar of the series scheduled for 2016, the next ones will be held in the central, southern and eastern regions.
The EU program "Creative Europe" (2014-2020) is one of the largest projects of the European Commission in the field of culture, audiovisual and creative industries. The program aims to develop the sector of culture and creative industries in Europe, strengthening the competitiveness of the European audiovisual productions, and to ensure the promotion and protection of cultural and linguistic diversity. The estimated funding for the program from the EU budget is 1.46 billion euro. The program consists of two subprograms: "Culture" and "Media".
