Fans of the sunny drink far beyond Transcarpathia know very well one of the best winemakers of the region from the village Kidesh of Beregovo district, a multiple winner of the largest wine festival in Ukraine “Chervene vyno” ("Red wine") and other wine competitions of Karl Shosh.
He had just returned from Paris, where he participated in one of the world’s biggest wine festivals – competitions. It is suffice to say that France welcomed famous winemakers from more than eighty countries. And in this campaign, our respectable fellow-countryman was not lost, moreover, three varieties of wine that he presented, namely "Golubok", "Irshai-red" and "Irshai-white" won gold medals of the Paris Wine Festival.
In addition, the Transcarpathian winemaker has brought home three bronze medals for other types of his wines.
