Transcarpathian weather forecasters warn about rains and thunderstorms in some districts of the region

The storm warning has appeared on the site of the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.

– In the nearest hour and during the day, thunderstorms are expected in the territory of Transcarpathian region and the city of Uzhgorod. During a thunderstorm, there will be squally wind of 15-20 m / s, – the message reads.

And this is a message from a young weather forecaster from Khust district Nazariy Kryvanich.

"During April 11, in the eastern parts of the Transcarpathian region, there will be short-term rains, there may be showers, thunderstorms, squally wind gain of 15-20 m / s is expected, possibly hail. In places of precipitation, the increase of water levels by 5-65 cm, sometimes up to 85 cm is expected. In the rivers of Transcarpathia, the increase in water levels by 5-75 cm is expected, in lower reaches – up to 1 m."
