Transcarpathian theater – the creative fervor does not subside

For the staff of the Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after brothers Yuriy-Augustine and Yevhen Sherehiys, this year’s spring and early summer are rich in variety of creative events associated with tours to remote towns and districts, as well as health centers and other places of recreation. 

The Transcarpathian artists had a particular success on May 24 at the XVI International Festival "Ethno-Dia-Sphere" in Mukachevo.

While watching the play-vaudeville "Turkish shawl" by H. Kvitka-Osnovyanenko (director – People’s Artist of Ukraine Anatoly Filippov), residents and guests of the city on Latorica generously rewarded the performers standing ovation.

The 96th theater season ends soon, but the creative fervor of the Transcarpathian artists does not subside.
