In the summer, trainings on teaching Ukrainian language for students from national minorities will be conducted for teachers of Ukrainian

"In the beginning of July, we want to conduct 10-day trainings for Ukrainian language teachers who teach it for children at elementary schools with Hungarian and Romanian language of instruction. Thus, it is planned to invite Canadian experts who have special methods of teaching Ukrainian as a non-mother tongue," – Lilia Grinevich, the Minister of Education and Science, said.

She added that the ministry would develop comprehensive methodological recommendations on teaching Ukrainian as a state language for teachers who teach children at schools for national minorities.

The Ministry of Education will also develop the standard of Ukrainian as a mother tongue and for national minorities.
