Transcarpathian taxpayers paid almost UAH 90 million for the development of the Army

In January-April 2019, taxpayers of Transcarpathian region paid to the budget UAH 89.3 million in military tax.

Representatives of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region noted that compared to the four months of the last year, the amount of this payment increased by UAH 9.8 million.

In April alone, residents of the region paid UAH 22.2 million of the "patriotic" tax, which is 2.3 million more than that in the last year.

Recall that the military tax was introduced on August 3, 2014. The rate of this payment is 1.5% of taxable income. Payers of this tax are individuals – residents and non-residents – who receive income from a source in Ukraine. The persons responsible for collection (acctual) and payment (transfer) of the military tax to the budget are employers that pay income in the form of salary for a taxpayer.
