The business entity was illegally selling excisable products of foreign production in one of the villages of Uzhgorod district. Fines of UAH 17,000 are provided for the sale of excisable goods without a license and UAH 17,000 for the retail sale of alcohol without excise stamps.
Disclosure of this violation became possible due to the monitoring of the excisable good sale market by employees of the Department of Control over Circulation and Taxation of Excisable Goods of the State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region in the territory of Uzhgorod district.
In total, in 11 months of 2020, based on the results of inspections, employees of the Main Office of the State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region found out 85 cases of retail trade in excisable goods without the appropriate licenses. In particular, 62 facts of retail trade in alcoholic beverages without a license, 15 facts of retail trade in tobacco products without a license, 4 facts of retail trade in fuel without a license and 4 facts of fuel storage without a license. Following the consideration of inspection materials, financial sanctions in the amount of UAH 4 million 309 thousand were imposed.
