Transcarpathian strongmen are going to the European powerlifting championship

October 20-23, 2016, a power sports competition will take place in the city of Szerencs in neighboring Hungary. Transcarpathia will be represented by seven athletes.

The competition will be held in four types of power sports. Those are powerlifting, bench press, deadlift and push pool. The Transcarpathian team consists of the competition favorites and honorable veterans. Our region will be represented by the following athletes:

– Palyuk Ivan, born in 1950, will compete in bench press without gear;

– Marushka Valeriy, born in 1986 – bench press with gear;

– Varga Serhiy, born in 1982 – powerlifting without gear;

– Katsebo Vladislav, born in 1985 – bench press without gear;

– Cherepanya Ivan, born in 1985 – deadlift without gear;

– Myhovych Oleksandr, born in 1970 – powerlifting without gear;

– Klovanych Denys – bench press without gear.

We hope that this time, our guys will come back with a victory.
