The Transcarpathian SSU officers donated blood for needs of Uzhgorod Regional Perinatal Center and Children’s Hospital on the eve of the International Children’s Day, – informs the SS of Ukraine press center.
Nearly 30 employees, among which are donors with rare IV group blood, help children not for the first time. The blood is intended first of all for those children, who are being treated in these hospitals. The life of each of them depends on the blood preparations provision.
In Ukraine, the need of clinical medicine in the blood preparations for seriously ill children is fulfilled only for 20-25%. The increasing of the donor case prestige in the society is the national importance matter. That is why, the Security Service of Ukraine initiated such assistance providing for the little patients.
