Transcarpathian schoolchildren will not go to school this year

Ukrainian students will not come back to regular schooling this academic year. The training will continue remotely until the end of May.

This was reported by the Acting Minister of Education and Science Lyubomira Mandziy during an online conference.

According to her, the academic year will continue only for the 11th graders who have to take the external independent tests.

“The educational process for pupils of all grades, except the 11th, finishes according to the adopted structure of the academic year, which is approved by the teachers council of the school. Therefore, dear educators, we are using remote technologies with students until the end of May,” – Mandziy said.

In addition, the Acting Minister of Education and Science thanked teachers and parents for organizing and engaging students in the remote schooling process.

We would like to remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the quarantine until May 11, 2020. The relevant decision was adopted at the Government meeting today, April 22.
