The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the Law №654-VIII of 07.17.2015 "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on creation of favorable conditions for the provision of educational services by private preschools and secondary schools"
The adopted regulative document reduces the tax burden on public institutions, provides favorable conditions to attract investment in the development of budget infrastructure of preschools and secondary schools in private ownership.
The amendments to the Code exclude from the taxable property premises of kindergartens and secondary schools, regardless of the form of ownership and funding sources, that are used to provide educational services.
Also, preschools and secondary schools, regardless of their form of ownership and funding sources, institutions of culture, science, education, health care, social security, physical culture and sports, which are fully funded from the state budget, shall not be subject to land tax – the communications sector of the STI in Uzhgorod of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region informs
