Transcarpathian roads are covered with corpses. Of frogs

The spring is long delayed. But amphibians can not wait any longer – they are migrating, and while crossing roads, a lot of them die under the wheels of cars. Last night the road from Uzhgorod to Perechyn, particularly along the river, was densely covered with crushed frog carcasses. Experts say that there will be even more victims once it gets really warm.

Even tenderhearted drivers can not prevent tragedies – frogs are not visible on the road and it is impossible to avoid running over them on our bad roads.

However, in many European countries, such problems have long been resolved. Above the roads there are many bridges for animals. And, for example, in Germany along many, even local roads there are ditches with straw. Everything is simple: frogs fall into those ditches. Every morning and every evening an employee collects frogs in a bucket and carries them across the street!
