Employees of the road service in Transcarpathian region were sent on unpaid leave until April 20. The reason is the debts of the company. The chief of the regional road service Vasyl Markovich made a smart move, and took a long-termed leave the day after the resignation of the head of the RSA Oleksandr Ledyda. After it is finished, he intends to retire as on March 10 he turned 60.
Last year, Kyiv allocated 112 million hryvnias from the state budget for road maintenance, while we received only 72 million. Meanwhile, Transcarpathian region trasferred to the state treasury nearly 600 million hryvnias of vehicle tax included in the price of fuel. To date, the state owes the regional road service nearly 11 million hryvnias.
