In January-April 2017, Transcarpathian reservists of the operational reserve will take part in the drill at military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the military, the drill will last 30 days at the defined units.
It is planned that 200 Transcarpathian men will take part. – The purpose of this drill is to increase the combat capability of military units and improve practical knowledge and skills of the personnel, including the reservists of the operational reserve – the military commissar of Tyachiv District Military Commissariat said.
– The higher military command have carefully analyzed all the shortcomings of the drill that was held in 2016. and we are constantly working to improve the organization.
Thus, in 2017, not only the reservists of the operational reserve of the military units involved in the drill will take part in it, but also reservists of other units. Other persons subject to military service may also be called to upgrade their skills according to their military specialties. Reserve officers will also be able to undergo two weeks of training in higher military educational institutions.
