On July 5, at 11:35 am, the Mukachevo district rescue service received a report about burning stubbles in the field between the settlements of Klyucharky and V. Luchky, the site of the regional Office of the State Emergencies Service informed.
Fire brigades of 17 and 19 state fire and rescue units of Mukachevo were sent to eliminate the fire. In total, two pieces of equipment and 7 personnel members were engaged.
Upon the arrival of the fire crews, the fire had already covered 1 hectare of stubble and spread to the crop of wheat in area of 0.5 hectares.
The firefighters took all efforts to save the crop.
At 13:01, the fire was localized, and at 13:17 – eliminated completely. Thus, the bulk of the wheat field was saved from destruction.
