Transcarpathian rescuers saved a man from fire

November 20 around 14:00 in Beregovo there was a fire in a private house. Concerned neighbors informed the rescuers about a strong smoke in the house.
In a few minutes the unit of the state fire and rescue station number 12 in Beregovo arrived at the scene. During the search operation the rescuers found an unconscious man in a room of the house.
They took the man to fresh air, where paramedics gave him first aid. The victim, who was the 62-year-old owner of the building, with thermal burns was hospitalized in the Beregovo central district hospital.
The fire damaged household items. The cause of the fire and the amount of loss is under investigation.
Since the beginning of the year there have been 1699 fires in the region, and Ministry of Emergencies officers have rescued 66 people – informed TD of MOE in Transcarpathian region.
