Transcarpathian rescuers hosted a delegation of the Czech Republic

Today, on August 15, Transcarpathian rescuers hosted a delegation from the Vysocina region of the Czech Republic, who are currently visiting Transcarpathia.
The delegation was headed by the Hetman of the Vysocina region Jiri Byehounek and the Director General of the Czech Republic Fire and Rescue Service Dragoslav Riba.   The visit of the foreign guests to Ukraine is another step in the development of cross-border cooperation and business partnership between Transcarpathian rescuers and Czech colleagues, which has been going on for several years.
The venue for the meeting today was the Emergency and Rescue Squad of the SES of Transcarpathia. Here, Czech rescuers presented floating fire pumps, generators, chainsaws, helmets and many other equipment for local firefighters. Handing the gifts to the SES units, the Director General of the Czech Republic Fire and Rescue Service Dragoslav Riba thanked the rescuers for the daily work they do for the benefit of the Transcarpathian community and wished that these gifts protect them from the dangers and help them to efficiently save lives in emergency situations. In his turn, the head of the Transcarpathian rescuers Roman Hudak thanked the esteemed guests for the provided logistical facilities and expressed hope that the relations between the Transcarpathian rescuers and the Fire and Rescue Service of the Vysočina region of the Czech Republic would keep strengthening because sharing work experience allows rescuers to help people more quickly and efficiently.
