Today, January 29, at the Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Transcarpathian region they celebrated the Day of honoring veterans and retirees of the Fire Protection Service. The celebration was attended by people who for decades were on "the line of fire", saved many human lives, strengthened the authority of the service. Currently the regional veteran organization consists of over 300 people.
For personal contribution to the development of the service, the head of the Territorial Directorate of the MOE in Transcarpathian region, deputy of the Regional Council Miroslav Shcherbey presented awards to former mentors and colleagues of rescuers on behalf of the Ukrainian War and the Ministry of Emergencies Veterans Association of Ukraine, as well as diplomas and prizes of the Territorial Directorate.
