Transcarpathian rescuers freed a child locked in an apartment

On August 14, at 09:50, the duty police officer reported to the Rescue Service that a woman had called them for help.

She could not get into her own apartment in which her granddaughter was locked.

A crew of the 4th state fire and rescue unit was immediately sent at the address of the apartment on Borkanyuk street in the town of Mizhhirya.

Upon arrival, rescuers using a retractable ladder climbed into the window on the third floor of the four-storey building and, after calming down the scared girl, opened the door for her grandmother from the inside.  

As it turned out, the grandmother left the child for a minute and went out, and meanwhile, the door of the apartment locked and the "captive" found herself alone in the apartment.
