Transcarpathian rescuers found three lost tourists in the Carpathians

On December 25, at 18:20, the Transcarpathian Rescue Service received a report that two snowboarders from Lviv born in 1988 and 1991 had got lost in the area of the Hymba Mountain in Mizhhirya district. The men called rescuers, when they realized that due to poor visibility they would not be able to return to the tourist center on their own. They also indicated their approximate location.

5 specialists of the mountain search and rescue department of the village of Nyzhni Vorota, Volovets district, were sent for search and rescue work.

During the search, they found a resident of Kyiv born in 1996. The skier from the capital had also lost his way in the Carpathians.

All the tourists were found and at 21:30 they were brought to their places of temporary residence at the tourist and recreational facilities in the village of Pylypets.

The tourists did not need medical assistance.
