Transcarpathian rescuers found Kyiv tourists who had got lost in the mountains

On October 22, at 20:35, Transcarpathian rescuers received a report that two tourists born in 1979 and 1983, residents of the city of Kyiv and the city of Vasylkiv in Kyiv region had got lost near the Mt. Velyky Verkh in Volovets district.

Four rescuers and one unit of equipment of the mountain search and rescue department of the village of Nyzhni Vorota were sent to their approximate location for a search and rescue operation.

At 00:20 on October 23, the lost women were found near ​​the Shypit waterfall. The women did not need medical care. Then, the rescuers accompanied them to one of the campsites in the village of Pylypets in Mizhhirya district, where they stayed.
