As of 09:00, the traffic of heavy vehicles, on the passes of the highway M06 Kyiv-Chop in Transcarpathian region has been resumed.
4 units of equipment and 16 rescuers are working on the Abransky and Latirsky passes in Volovets district of Transcarpathian region.
Rescuers have already towed out 22 vehicles that were stuck on snow-covered roads of Transcarpathian region. At present, towing operations continue. The current information is being constantly updated.
55 workers and 44 units of equipment of the state enterprise "Transcarpathian Oblavtodor" were working to ensure free passage on the highways of the region.
As of 09:00, due to the deterioration of weather conditions, according to the information of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC, 39 settlements in Transcarpathian region were disconnected from the electricity supply – 31 were entirely and 8 partially.
Also, as a result of bad weather, 11 trees fell on roadways in Perechyn, Velyky Berezny, Beregovo districts and the city of Uzhgorod. All trees were cut by the personnel of the Rescue Service units.
Nobody was killed or injured as a result of the events.
Recall that yesterday, on the Abransky and Latirsky passes, traffic for heavy vehicles closed.
