Transcarpathian rescuers advised not to go to the mountains, there is a danger of avalanches

According to the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Centre, on 22 – 24 of February, in connection with snowfalls, on the highlands of Transcarpathian region, the III (significant) level of avalanche hazard remains. This is stated in the report of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region.

To avoid danger, before going to the mountains, you should register with the nearest rescue unit and listen to the recommendations of the representatives of the State Emergencies Service. In case of avalanche hazard warning, it better to refrain from the trip.
