Transcarpathian Regional State Administration is not going to defend its official

The statement of the regional state administration regarding the arrest of the head of the social welfare department for taking a bribe: 

Extortion and receipt of bribes by employees of the regional state administration is unaccepatable, such actions undermine the status of a civil servant and are subject to articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The fact of documenting the criminal activity of the head of the social welfare department should be investigated as soon as possible objectively and impartially, and based on the results of the investigation, the court will make the appropriate decision. 

The regional administration is not going to protect its employees from criminal prosecution, no matter what offices they hold. If an official dares to take bribes, he must be prepared to answer for it according to the law.

Recall: Procedural prosecutors of the Transcarpathian region prosecutor’s office, together with officers of the Economic Crime Department in Transcarpathian region, caught the head of one of the departments of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration receiving a $ 400 bribe.
