On the initiative of the city planning and architecture department of the RSA, under Articles 13,16,20,25 of the Law of Ukraine "On local state administrations", in connection with the citizens’ appeal to the department, publications in mass media and big public outcry about the destruction of the Tsiril Fundanych store at Voloshin st., 47 in Uzhgorod, the Regional State Administration will take necessary measures to establish the legality of construction works and grounds for approval of the project documentation for the specified construction, as according to the historical and architectural plan of Uzhgorod, the destroyed building is a "newly discovered object of cultural heritage".

Recall that last Sunday, after a series of publications, lively discussion on social networks and the actual destruction of the house at Voloshin st., 47, citizens rallied to express protest against the outrageous treatment of architecture in Uzhgorod.
