In 2013, the executive authorities and local self-government bodies received 129,000 appeals, which is almost 12,000 less than that in 2012. The number of repeated appeals increased and is 3.3%. At the same time, 3903 persons appealing to the RSA indicated their social status as "poor", which accounts for 94.2% of all appeals.
Number of appeals received from Transcarpathian by higher level government agencies decreased by 238, ie by 25%. The number of appeals to the Administration of the President of Ukraine decreased by 28.1%, to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – by 57%. The largest proportion of appeals to higher government agencies came from residents of Khust district – 52.3%
Citizens appeal with such major issues as social protection – 2794 appeals, or 64.6% of total amount, municipal and road problems – 292 appeals, or 6.7%, health – 134 or 3.1%.
Part of repeated appeals are caused by lack of funds.
Much of the appeals concern the provision of one-time financial assistance. In 2013, 2576 low-income residents of the region, who have appealed to Ledyda and his deputies, received from the regional budget financial assistance in the amount of 1,439,240 UAH.
