Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater will become academic

Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater will soon be awarded academic status. And Honored Worker of Culture Natalia Petiy-Potapchuk will be awarded the title of the People’s Artist of Ukraine

On the occasion of the 70th theatrical season, the Transcarpathian Regional State Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after brothers Yuriy-Augustine and Yevhen Sherehiy will be awarded the status of academic theater. And the artistic director and chief conductor of the Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Natalia Petiy-Potapchuk will be awarded the title of the People’s Artist of Ukraine.

Such agreements were reached during the meeting of the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal and the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko.
