Transcarpathian Regional Library will host guests from Ivano-Frankivsk region (Announcement)

On Thursday, April 21, at 17.00, writers from Ivano-Frankivsk region will visit the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library. They will tell about the literary process in their home region and present their books.

    Among the guests –

Yevhen Baran – literary critic, essayist, the head of the regional organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region. He is the author of dozens of books of literary criticism, compiled many publications.

Maria Mykycej – poet, journalist. Representative of Stanislav phenomenon. According to Volodymyr Yeshkilev, she is trying to build in Ukrainian literature a semantic image complex of "anti-Zabuzhko" as an alternative concept of contemporary women’s poetry.

Lubomir Strynahlyuk – poet, literary critic, journalist and public figure. His poetry is translated in German, Polish, Croatian, tends to neomodernism discourse in modern Ukrainian literature.

Svitlana Breslavska-Kemin – writer, literary critic, teacher. She worked as a teacher in Khust district. The latest collection "Crossing the Threshold" is about her worries for her husband in the ATO area, spontaneous dreams, the reality of life without embellishment and more.

Additional meeting with writers will be held:

at 10:00 with students of the Faculty of Philology of UzhNU (room. 406)

at 14:00 with students of Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts.
